responsibility and accountability for facilitating, communicating, and
collaborating with both the healthcare team, and the patient/family to identify
and meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of the patient. Promotes
the optimal health, well-being and safety of the patient through use of the
nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines and
the State Nurse Practice Act. Demonstrates personal accountability for
relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values. Day to Day
duties: Circulate and/or Scrub on all cases. Mainly Ortho, Total joint
replacements (Hips, Shoulder, Knees Ankles etc.), Ortho Spine and Sports
Medicine. Giving breaks and/or providing additional supplies and sterile
instruments as needed during operations. Assisting with Room turnover and
restocking for next days cases. Acting as an advocate for patient before, during
and after surgery.OR Suites-8 OR Suites, 11 Pre-Op Beds, 10 PACU Bays, 48
Inpatient BedsApprox.200-250+ cases per monthWhat You Bring/Job Requirements:In
addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified
candidates will need the following: * RN License required; Current state nursing
licenses or RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure
Compact, * *Colorado Only:* RNs working in Colorado under a multi-state license
must obtain their CO RN license within 30 days of establishing residency, i.e.,
drivers license, register to vote, etc. Compact to Compact. Upon issuance of a

Degree in Nursing required; Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred* Graduate of

Campus, OrthoColorado Hospital is a joint venture between physician investors
and Centura Health. Our state-of-the-art facility features a 48-bed inpatient
unit, including six intermediate care beds and eight operating rooms. All
members of our staff and team, from pre-operative care through recovery, and our
in-patient nurses are specialty trained in orthopedics. Our surgeons are
renowned for their talent, knowledge and experience in their orthopedic
specialties and sub-specialties. Having a team with a focused background and
years of experience allow our staff to provide an unprecedented level of care,
resulting in the best outcomes and experience for our patients. The Surgery
department at OrthoColorado Hospital has 11 pre-op beds, eight OR suites, ten
PACU bays, 48 inpatient beds and specializes in orthopedic surgery. Our patient
mix is spine, orthopedic including total hips, knees, shoulders and ankles,
sports med, foot and ankle, hand and wrist. OrthoColorado Hospital provides
advanced orthopedic and spine care with an unsurpassed level of service to help
patients achieve the best quality of life. Our team of physicians and nurses
work collaboratively to support the healing ministry of Christ by caring for
those who are ill and by nurturing the health of the people in our communities.
OrthoColorado has a great culture, and our caregivers enjoy the small size
hospital feel. We only do elective cases which means we just operate Monday
through Friday, are closed on weekends and major holidays, and do not have on
call. We look for team members that have enthusiasm, punctuality, a positive
attitude, and are team players. "The right candidate for us will be motivated,
Hardworking, and passionate about the OR. We're a tight knot team with only 1 RN
and 1 Tech per room so team players are a must. We're a fast paced department
with 15 min room turnovers so everyone is expected to jump in and help. It's
"All Hands-on Deck" with Ortho CO. We're Part physician owned, amazing
relationship with surgeons. Teamwork is rated high with this team. Surgeons help
in rooms. Great collaboration. Must be punctual and comfortable on a busy
