surgeons and advanced practice practitioners providing surgical and
non-surgical care in conjunction with the area's leading BJC hospitals.
Their sports medicine team provides medical care to athletes and
non-athletes of all ages in Alton, Edwardsville, and surrounding areas.

Overview
BJC Medical Group is the multi-specialty physician

BJC Medical Group physicians are trained and certified in over 25 medical
specialties and serve patients in more than 125 locations in the greater St.

Alton Orthopedic Clinic specializes in Orthopedic practices and is located on
the campus of Alton Memorial Hospital.
We provide service Monday through Friday, occasional night and weekend
coverage of high school and college athletic events,
Emergency Room call coverage several weeks per year and
Saturday morning Injury Clinics during the fall sports season.
Preferred Qualifications
Role Purpose
The Practice Administrator operates at the site level, and is responsible for
the management of a single practice or multiple practices that have
approximately 10-15 providers. This position is responsible for the day-to-day
operations and the clinical flow management of the site.
Responsibilities
Manages individual(s) including but not limited to: onboarding and hiring,
training, workload management & performance evaluations, conducting
professional development plans as needed. Ensures that the productivity and
actions of that group meet/support the overall operational goals of the
department as established by department leadership.
Develops and adheres to departmental staffing, revenue and/or expense budgets.
Responds to changes in the business which may affect the ability to achieve
the budget goals.
Visible and present daily rounding for facilitation of patient flow as well as
patient and provider satisfaction. Available for immediate and timely response
to barriers or obstacles to daily workflows. Develop a staffing plan that
meets both customer expectations and financial constraints. Create an
environment where employee engagement and feedback facilitates positive
change.
Interacts and collaborates regularly with physicians/providers to provide
direction and oversight of effective schedules, efficient clinic work flow and
patient flow, establishing and maintaining a cooperative, relationship of
trust with providers. Brings significant concerns to the Physician Site
Leader.
Respond to patient complaints; analyze and determine necessity to elevate the
complaint based on situation, potential risk, effective resolution, clinical
care concerns, etc.
Provides leadership to direct reports in the execution of work plans and long
and short term goals. Implements site level infrastructure and changes to
supporting processes and systems. Implements and completes site goals.
Monitor, measure, assess and improve site performance using patient
satisfaction data, BJCMG reports of budgeted vs. worked hours, RVU reports and
NextGen reports
