Saint Alphonsus Medical Center – Ontario and Saint Alphonsus Medical Group have an excellent full-time employment opportunity for a general Orthopedic Surgery physician to join a growing practice located in Fruitland, Idaho.
Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) is a physician-led 450+ provider multispecialty group seeking a general orthopedic surgeon to join a busy orthopedic practice in Fruitland, Idaho. The team is supported by two Orthopedic Sports Medicine physicians and three Advanced Practice Providers.
Support includes hospital-based imaging services, including a 24/7 Radiology department with in-house coverage for general Radiology and CT; after hours coverage for Ultrasound and Nuclear Medicine; MRI; Comprehensive Breast Center; and DR image capture technology.
The typical schedule for this full-time opportunity is Monday through Friday, with a minimum of 32 patient contact hours per week, plus procedures, rounding, and consults. Call is shared with other eligible members in the SAMG Department of Orthopedics and candidate must have willingness to take general orthopedic ED call.
Requirements for this opportunity include an individual with a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or a Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree; successful completion of an accredited orthopedic residency program; Board Certification through the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery (ABOS) (or obtain such certification within three years) ; ability to obtain Idaho & Oregon medical licensure and granting of privileges at SAMC-Ontario and SAMC- Nampa; valid controlled substance registration with Board of Pharmacy and DEA; willingness to take general orthopedic call.
