Job Description

Summary

Follows physicians through his or her workday and chart patient encounters in real-time using a medical office's Electronic Health Record and existing templates.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Chart patient encounters in real-time during office visits
  • Reviews documentation to determine accuracy
  • Manage and sort medical documents in the EMR system
  • Generate referral letters for physicians
  • Assist physician with e-Scribing

Education : High school diploma/GED required

Certification : Highly prefer Medical Assistant or EMT certification or relevant experience in lieu of

Experience : Highly prefer at least a year of experience working in a healthcare setting preferably in a physician practice setting as a Scribe or similar
