Position Information:
The Fitness Specialist provides group and individual instruction and
education to participants varying in age, ability and health status in the
following programs: Cardiac Rehab, Safeway to Fitness, Personal Training,
Transitional Exercise, Group Exercise, Youth Fitness, Bariatric, general
membership and other programs offered through the department. The Fitness
Specialist also coordinates one or more of these programs and assists the
Healthworks team in the day to day operations of the department.
Experience Requirements:
2 Years Fitness or Other Clinical Exercise Required - And Healthcare
Preferred - And Leadership Preferred
Education Required:
Bachelor's Degree Healthcare Or Physical Education Or Exercise Science
Required
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
Basic Life Support Required - And Certified Health Fitness Instructor Or
Certified Exercise Specialist Or Certified Personal Trainer Preferred
Hours of Work:
Weekdays 5 am to 11 am
Weekend Requirements:
No Weekends
