Nemours is looking for Per diem Athletic Trainer to join our highly skilled team providing quality sideline care to the athletes at the Chase Fieldhouse location . The Chase Fieldhouse is a state-of-the-art facility with 3 full size basketball courts, indoor and outdoor turf fields and host of year round sporting events. The Per Diem ATC will be required to work a minimum of 6-8 days every six months. All supplies provided by Nemours. $40/hour.
- The athletic trainer (AT) provides treatment to individuals who have, or seek to avoid, musculoskeletal injuries during participation or training for athletics or physical activity. Administers and performs appropriate techniques and method for Pre/Post rehabilitation programs and in the prevention of injuries; providing appropriate supervision of clients enrolled in these programs. Demonstrates knowledge and use of protective bracing/splinting, safety equipment, education of students, coaches and parents, and coordinates care with medical/clinical staff.
- Maintains core competencies and any additional competencies determined to be necessary by the management team to ensure patient care needs are met.
Requirements:
Must have BOC ATC Certification and be eligible for Delaware State Athletic Training License and appropriate state licensure for primary clinic site; must be eligible for DE licensure

i. Must submit license or proof of application submission within 2 weeks of job acceptance, but this second license is not required to be active at the start of employment
BLS certification Basic Life Support (within 6 months of date of hire) and must be maintained for duration of employment
