Assistant/Associate Professor of Health and Human Performance
The School of Health Sciences at Salisbury University is accepting applications for a faculty position within the Master of Science in Health and Human Performance (HHPF) program and Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science (EXSC). This is a full-time tenure-track position.
Area of Specialization: Exercise Physiology
Primary Job Duties: Primary responsibilities include teaching HHPF and EXSC courses, conducting scholarship, and providing service to the school, university, community, and profession. The successful candidate will support the maintenance of CoAES-mediated Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) accreditation
Minimum Qualifications: Ph.D. in Exercise Physiology, or a related field. American College of Sports Medicine-Clinical Exercise Physiology and/or National Strength and Conditioning Association-Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist credentials.
Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated ability to publish in peer reviewed journals in exercise physiology or closely related fields. Candidates with interest in leadership opportunities will also be given preference.
